Community-Led Climate Action in Uasin Gishu
Climate change is felt first at the community level then it is felt in farms, water sources and livelihoods. UGCCSN’s environment and climate resilience programme promotes conservation and climate adaptation among communities across Uasin Gishu County.
Our activities include tree-planting campaigns, climate change awareness, waste management initiatives, environmental advocacy and the promotion of sustainable agriculture. By mobilizing member organizations and residents around these efforts, we help communities protect the natural resources they depend on while building resilience for the future.
